In addition to this semi-official time line there has been countless exchanges between the people of Choshi and Coos Bay. For example, Choshi has had assistant English teachers from the Coos Bay area continuously since 1986. Some Choshi fish-processing business men visited Coos Bay and imported a large amount of sea products for their business. The exchange of individuals based on personal friendship would be uncountable.
We hope this good relation between Choshi and Coos Bay expands and lasts long and forever.
